Welcome back! Its great that your kitchen is working and useable again =D. I'm glad you enjoyed the cookies - I haven't tried them yet because they're not available in Canada, but I've heard so many great reviews!

Glad to hear your kitchen project is coming to a close. It must be exciting to have an all-new kitchen!!

The funny thing about the Betty Crocker cookies is that I didn't care for them, but gluten-eating husband did. Go figure!! Not that I think there really IS a bad cookie.

So glad I came across your blog! I am excited to try many of your recipes... My husband and mother-in-law are celiacs and I support them by eating a gluten free diet with them.. It's made such a positive difference in all of our lives. I love to cook and try new recipes; kind of a hobby of mine.

Oh! and we are almost neighbors! I am in Sweetwater, TN. I look forward to all of your posts!!!
Best Healthy Wishes,
-Kristy

Hey Karen and/or Andy,
I am looking for a really good GF flour tortilla recipe. the only one that even came close had no taste and looked like a pan cake. :-( that one defiantly went into the trash. My family loves Mexican food, and although corn is great flour tortillas are much better. :-)
thanks!

This is the BEST recipe. # 1 IN MY BOOK! I am new with cooking gluten free food for my family, yesterday, I made the pot pies and the french bread, BOTH a huge hit. My step son who is a frozen dinner junky even came back for seconds. I will defiantly be checking back to see what other recipes come about! I have been so scared to cook anything gluten free, because of all the horror stories I read online..so far about 30 percent of mine have gone in the trash. But I think part of it is you need a good recipe to make a good meal. not bad for a beginner. lol! Thank you for the wonderful recipes.!!!!!!!
If any one has a really good recipe for GF flour tortillas please let me know.

Annabelle, I've been wanting to find a proper hamotzi recipe too. I just bought some gluten-free oats and was planning to grind them into flour and partially substitute that flour into this recipe.
FYI, there is a company that sells gluten-free matza that is kosher for Passover and is made from oat flour. It's called Lakewood Matzoh. There's also some available in the UK, just google it.
