Menu-Plan Monday, March 10

Are you going to Scarborough Fair?
Parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme,
Remember me to one who lives there,
For he once was a true love of mine.

This week Gluten Free Mommy is featuring thyme as an ingredient.  Along with rosemary, thyme is one of my favorite herbs.  It finds its way into a lot things I cook when I need to add just a little more flavor.  This is probably because I tend to cook with a Mediterranean influence, particularly Italian, but also French.

Sunday:
Chicken Pot Pie

Monday:
Pasta with Roasted Squash, Proscuitto and Sage

Tuesday:
Out to Dinner

Wednesday:
Roast Pork and Potatoes
Herbed Asparagus (includes Thyme)

Thursday:
Fish of some sort

Friday:
Buffalo Chicken Wings
Fries
Salad

Gluten Free Menu Swap Monday - Thyme

Okay, so a couple of weeks ago I said I would post step-by-step instructions for my chicken pot pie, but obviously, that never happened. Basically, because I didn’t make it that week. But I am making it tonight, and promise to take lots of pictures as I go.

And if the pasta recipe turns out well, I’ll post that one too.

  1. [...] Karen at Gluten Free Red Sox Fan has a yummy gluten free menu. I can’t stop thinking about roast pork after reading her menu! I will have to make roast pork next week. Karen is hoping to have step by step instructions for her chicken pot pie in the upcoming weeks. [...]

  2. Thanks Carrie! The sky really was that color that evening, so I just had to get a picture.
