Happy New Year!

I think I need to catch to breath.

It’s been a crazy month. I have so much to tell you all – so many stories, so many pictures. (By the way, you can see all the pictures in my album that I posted on the blog, top-left side.) I don’t quite know where to start.

I got home from Australia on New Year’s Eve at about 10:30 pm. I’ve since managed to get a nasty cold, so I’m not getting this year off to such a great start. At least it has no where to go but up!

I’ve had a little time to browse some of your blogs – it looks like everyone had a great holiday season. I missed everyone while I was gone! I’ll probably get to read most, but probably not comment on anything. I don’t want to say that I’m not looking back, because I obviously will be, but I think I’ll mostly just jump on in to 2008 will all that it has to offer – the good, the bad, the unexpected. (I’m not a fan of change, or the unexpected, but this year will bring, at the very least, a change in jobs for me.)

I’ll slowly get back into cooking and baking. Over the few weeks, I’ll be going through my recipes and thinking of all sorts of fun things to experiment with. I got several new cookbooks for Christmas, as well as a renewal of my Food and Wine Magazine. And I’ll be using that survey I did as a rough guide for posts.

And I promise to tell you all about my travels, I just wanted to get a post up to say “hello” and “Happy New Year” to all! I’ve missed you!
